The SCA is a worldwide non profit, non political, non religious organisation bringing together people interested in living history of the period 600 to 1600 A.D.
Alcazar is a group for everyone interested in recreating all positive aspects of European medieval history. Our activities include handycraft, making of period garments, history discussions, dancing, cooking, archery, rapier fencing, armoured fighting training on foot etc. We are based in Spain and are sponsored by the shire of Holmrike in Nordmark.
The membership of SCA inc. also allows us to participate in medieval reenactment events arranged by our partner groups all over Europe, the USA and some other countries in the world (see photogallery).
